Chief Architect, VP of Technology

During this period we have made significant investment in our infrastructure that has led to implementation of a cohesive set of platform tools and capabilities. Several innovations were developed during this journey in the areas of microservices, micro front ends, data and AI. Some of the public facing innovations include tools like ArgoCD, GenOS that have delivered productivity for developers and customers. We continue to invest in our platform in order to drive further productivity and innovation for developers and customers. We are looking for a Chief Architect - Vice President, Technology, to lead architecture for the PDX group that covers the development tools and infrastructure for services, applications, third party integrations, identity and cloud hosting. We are looking for a leader that has a passion for solving end-to-end problems for developers and customers. This role will report to the VP of Development Experiences and Global Architecture, to drive this important charter for the company. What you'll bring - 15+ years of product and platform development experience with BS/MS in computer science or equivalent - 3+ years in a leadership, managing and coaching globally distributed teams and influencing third party technology strategy - Demonstrated experience and expertise is developing full stack applications across multiple areas from architecture, services, applications, data, analytics, AI and marketing technologies. - Track record of developing high performing organizations and working in a highly collaborative environment across multiple organizations. How you will lead + Set the technology strategy for the group working in close partnership with other organizations and leaders + Manage the Distinguished Engineers in the organization by defining their focus areas, coaching them. + Work closely with cloud providers and help drive the strategy and co-develop solutions with the largest vendors in the cloud. + Establish and improve engineering and operational excellence efforts across the company that drive a productive environment for developers and high availability for our customers. + Ensure technical governance of technologies being developed and partner with others to deliver end to end solutions. + Evaluate solution designs to confirm technical feasibility, alignment with business objectives, and incorporation of critical non-functional requirements. + Use, integrate, identify gaps and propose solutions across all technology assets in the company to ensure we have a cohesive platform. + Partner with the M&A team to ensure technology evaluation of potential companies that Intuit intends to acquire.
