What You'll Be Doing

The Chief Boiler Engineer plays a key role in keeping things running smoothly at HUMC. This important position is responsible for a variety of functions including:

Operates and monitors the Hospital’s Power Plant with regard to essential systems which provide Heating, Air Conditioning, and Steam. Maintains an efficient environment by measuring Fuel Levels. Performing sample analysis and safety testing. Uses specialized knowledge to determine preventive maintenance and equipment service needs. Maintains log and records as required.Any and all other duties as assigned

 

Regular Full time day shift

9a-5:30p

What We're Looking For

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years experience as industrial boiler operator.Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, DEP, EPA, and other applicable State and Federal Regulations including Safety.

Skills:

Good communication skillsAbility to interpret technical data20/20 correctable visionAbility to operate Hospital Power Plant.

Education:

High School Graduate. Black or Gold Boiler Operator seal
