Four Seasons Hotel Osaka is looking for a leader, a mentor, a resourceful problem-solver, a skilled negotiator, and above all, a champion for our guests. The day of a Chief Concierge is a whirlwind of activity, a dynamic blend of leadership, guest interaction, strategic planning, and a local Guru.
What you will do
Demonstrate a strong leadership presence for our guests and employeesResolve guest concerns and complaints promptly and effectively, demonstrating empathy and problem-solving skillsEnsure the proper handling of guest requests, messages, email, FS messenger, packages, flowers, etc.To know what activities are available in the city, i.e. theater, the arts, special exhibits, concerts, shows, sports, leisure activities, sightseeing tours, etc. and to establish close contacts with people in these areas to provide information, ticketing, reservations, etc. for guests.Establish rapport with frequent visitors; keep Reservations and Front Office staff well-informed about guests' preferences.Responsible for the operations of Concierge and VIP transport services.Develops operations plans, monitors concierge operations and service performance, and resolves irregularities in concierge service and escalated cases of guests' feedback.What you bring
The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with people at all levels and across all areas of the Hotel, including with external vendorsA passion for providing a memorable guest experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and friendly demeanorStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectivelyKnowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and entertainment optionsProficiency in using property management systems and other relevant softwareDemonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest concerns with professionalism and graceHighly developed people and business management skills, including payroll, rostering, cost control and expensesFlexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
