We are now looking for a success-driven and creative
Chief Elevation Officer
to take our social media game to the next level! We’re already the top dogs in terms of social media within our own industry, but there’s more to life than elevators and escalators. Our ambition is high, we want to be true thought leaders in the digital realm – and you’ll be in the driver’s seat to get us there.
This is a permanent Senior Communications Manager position in the Content and dialogue team (part of our Global Communications Center of Expertise), with a start date as soon as possible. Our work mode is hybrid and the primary location for this role is Espoo, Finland.
In this role, you will get to drive:
Strategic leadership: You will provide strategic direction and leadership for our social media. This includes developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our company strategy and business objectives.
Content excellence: You will create, curate and oversee high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our target audience. By managing both organic and paid content, you will ensure a cohesive and compelling brand narrative across all platforms.
Channel development: With fluency and a thorough understanding of corporate social media channels and platforms, you will lead the way for KONE’s global social channels
Audience engagement: You will foster meaningful interactions with our audience and steer the listening and monitoring activities carried out by the team.
Performance optimization: You will analyze social media metrics and performance data to optimize our content and campaigns.
Brand advocacy: By consistently promoting our agenda and key messages, you will amplify our voice in the digital space, ensuring that our brand remains top-of-mind for our audience and stakeholders.
Crisis management: In the event of a social media crisis, you will play a key role in allowing us to react swiftly and effectively, mitigating any potential damage to our brand and reputation.
Stakeholder management: You will foster and develop collaboration with our external social media agency, platform partners, as well as the internal KONE network – especially our marketing colleagues. You will also be in charge of our internal social media trainings and advocacy building.
This position is for you, if you have:
5-10 years of hands-on work experience in managing corporate social media, preferably in a multinational b2b environment
Understanding of well-performing content in the corporate social media space and the ability to deliver timely, compelling content for different channels
Experience in driving social media, both in terms of organic content and paid campaigns
Proven track record of successful social media campaigns and building impressive audience engagement
Native level storytelling, writing, editing and verbal communication skills in English
An inner wordsmith within you, ready to raise eyebrows with great content
Brilliance in digital content creation in various formats
A good grasp on the social media landscape, channels, and trends – and the ability to develop our social media accordingly
Ability to put a creative spin on the sometimes dull corporate topics (let’s face it – not every update is the most exciting thing to post about!)
Suitable academic degree, preferably in corporate communications, marketing or journalism
Accuracy, attention to detail and good organizational skills
Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously in pressured situations
Motivation and excitement to jump into various projects
Experience in people leadership
