Chief Engineer
\nAs a Chief Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in guiding technical teams on the development of engineering products. You will be accountable for providing expert technical guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful execution of projects. Your role will involve driving innovation, fostering technical excellence, and shaping the long-term technical strategy of Honeywell.
\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
\n\nGuiding the development of very complex, high-value components and systems involving multiple scientific and engineering disciplines\nAssist in the development of technical solutions which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity\nOverseeing the creation of technology roadmaps to deliver custom solutions to complex problems\nCollaborating with the Senior Chief to ensure that technology development plans align with the strategic objectives of the programs\nCoordinating with Program Leads to set the program strategic direction\nEnsuring that execution of system development plans successfully achieve specified milestones\nProviding feedback and guidance on work packages, gate reviews, customer deliverables and other technical information generated during the system development process\nEvaluating the resources, skill sets, processes, and tools of the organization against the requirements and needs of the customers to ensure that they adequately support program needs.\nInteracting with the engineering organizations to define and execute engineering effort\nMentoring and developing junior engineers\nInteracting with internal and external customers to identify future business opportunities, translating them to system architectures and contributing to pursuit activities\n\nYOU MUST HAVE
\n\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, science, technology, mathematics, or a related field\nMinimum 15 years of technical engineering leadership experience\nBe able to travel up to 30%\nU.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements. Applicants must also be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of security processing\n\nU.S. REQUIREMENTS

\n\nThe annual base salary for this position is $178,000 - $222,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.\nFor Salaried w/Incentive Plan (MIP, SIP, etc): This position is incentive plan eligible.\nIn addition to a competitive salary, leading-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package. \n\nMaster’s degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineer, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.\n20+ years of experience in engineering, research & development, manufacturing or a related field\nMechanical system and cryogenics experience are significant pluses\nExperience bringing designs from prototype to production\nExcellent ability to evaluate and understand business objectives and interact effectively with internal external customer leadership\n\nABOUT HONEYWELL
