We have an exciting opportunity for a **Chief Engineer for Gateway Lab Operations GRAIL** to join the team with Nexus, a teammate company. The **Chief Engineer for Gateway Lab Operations GRAIL** will: + The Chief Engineer will be the expert supporting the GRAIL (Gateway Ready Avionics Integration Lab),a critical testing facility of the Gateway Program which will return to the Moon + Chief expertise on facility and emulator design fidelity + Chief expertise on development and integration of high-fidelity avionic hardware and software integration of the lab + Support engineering flight project schedule, procurement documentation, budget and system requirements documents + Review integrated analysis of the GRAIL system, hardware and software in relation to other Gateway Systems and the operational environment + Participate and contribute to system requirements reviews, preliminary design reviews and critical design reviews + Review system level architecture trade studies and analyses that will influence the overall facility design and performance to inform decision making + Work with team members and leads to identify risks, develop risk statements, and plan risk responses with mitigation strategies + Work and present lab fidelity to customers and boards/panels + Perform other duties as required + Must have good communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment **Requisition Qualifications:** This position has been posted at multiple levels.
