Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
Our employees develop, build and work on the world s most advanced electromagnetic spectrum operations systems detecting, locating and countering threats for joint and international aircrew. We develop sophisticated digital Electronic Warfare (EW) systems and we are looking for motivated and positive minded engineers to join cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams. Key EW program objectives are to improve/enhance air vehicle survivability, through the abilities to detect, deny, deceive, degrade and/or disrupt adversaries Integrated Air Defenses.

We are hiring System Engineering Lead (SELs) to participate in Electronic Systems development programs at any of the locations listed above. As a Systems Engineer, you will be a member of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team to model, design, develop, integrate, debug, test, field, and support our innovative Electronic Systems.
1. Technical Solution Definition, Viability and Adequacy:
+ Develops system architecture and leads design, optimization, trades, and analyses
+ Ensures system design and implementation meet technical requirements and customer/mission needs within allocated engineering cost & schedule
+ Ensures system design is realizable, maintainable, supportable and testable
+ Drives technical risk and opportunity definition, identification, and mitigation/realization
1. Technical interface to Customer, PMO and executive leadership:
+ Extensive outside contact with customers, other contractors, and government officials
+ Prepare and deliver customer and technical presentations
+ Understand requirements, missions, use cases, and constraints
+ Technical risks and issues including impact assessment, mitigation, minimization and closure plans
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor Degree in related discipline and 8 years of relevant work experience
+ Possess an Active US Government security clearance (with ability to possess TS)
+ Experience leading development of Electronic Warfare, RADAR, Communications, and/or Missile systems
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Active Top Secret Clearance, SCI eligible
+ M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related engineering discipline and 10 years of experience
+ 5 years of experience as a Chief Engineer or equivalent leading development of Electronic Warfare systems
+ Formal Root Cause and Corrective Action training or equivalent experience
+ Model based systems engineering experience with tools such as MagicDraw.
+ Experience with Electronic Warfare, RADAR, Communications, and/or Missile systems
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $142205 - $241749
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
