An exciting opportunity to lead our Madison Square Boys & Girls Club (Madison) is open, and we are looking for our next Chief Executive Officer to make a positive impact on kids’ lives. We’re seeking candidates who will lead the overall planning and operation of the organization – while working closely with the Board of Directors. You will be responsible for bringing the organization’s mission to life, as you work to ensure that area kids and teens achieve great futures by delivering a safe and fun space, creating an engaging Club experience, and managing caring professionals to guide them along the way.

Madison’s mission is to save and embrace the lives of the youth in the communities that it serves. Madison is focused on increasing both the number of youth served and the positive impact on each member. The new CEO will be tasked with helping to develop the vision, garnering the community’s support, and harnessing the resources to succeed in this two-fold effort.

Responsibilities Direct and participate in fundraising and public relations activities.Report to the Board of Directors and implement strategic plans set by the Board.Promote Boys & Girls Club services to the local community with a focus on collaborative communication and increasing membership engagement.Oversee Madison’s staff, including recruiting, training, mentoring and evaluation.Work with the Board to perpetuate an effective and motivated Board, including through recruitment of new Board members.Demonstrate that safety is a core value; ensure that management is actively engaged in the safety improvement process and that Madison complies with the requirements and standards of Boys and Girls Clubs of America and other applicable regulatory agencies.Ensure that the organization is in compliance with membership and other requirements or standards of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, other affiliated and regulatory agencies and that the organization has standards and measures. Qualifications Growth-minded, entrepreneurial leader who can modernize and expand the organization’s impact while maintaining its legacy and rich foundation.Adept at cultivating relationships with high-profile stakeholders, and navigating a competitive funding landscape.Visionary who can articulate and implement bold, innovative ideas to inspire the board, engage stakeholders, and position the organization for the future.Seasoned "leader of leaders" with proven success managing large teams, fostering collaboration, and building a strong, motivated leadership culture.Politically savvy and experienced in board management and development.A disruptor who is passionate about serving youth and communities.Proficient in leveraging technology to enhance organizational efficiency, program delivery, and innovation.Proven business acumen and fiscal accountability for significant budgets and operating plans.Experience in strategic planning and execution.
