Chief Financial Officer
Job Title: Interim Controller Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CFO to manage and oversee our accounting and finance operations. This role comes with the potential for a full-time position and offers a competitive compensation package. As an Interim CFO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity of our operations and providing valuable financial insights to the Board of Directors. Responsibilities + Perform journal entries and payroll entries. + Reconcile bank and credit card statements. + Manage month-end closing processes and update budgets. + Oversee day-to-day team management. + Prepare weekly cash/AR reports. + Manage Foundation financial responsibilities. + Track taxes by state and maintain tax tracking sheets. + Coordinate with external partners to process tax returns. + Present financial information to the Board of Directors. + Update and manage budgets. Essential Skills + Proficiency in finance and accounting. + Experience with financial reporting and reconciliation. + Strong journal entry skills. + Ability to report to Board Members biweekly. + ACE (Architecture, Construction, or Engineering industry experience.) Additional Skills & Qualifications + MBA preferred. Work Environment This is a hybrid role, requiring in-office presence on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. You will be expected to be in the office more frequently during the first month of the role. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $85.00/hr.
