Chief Income Auditor

Job Description The Chief Income Auditor is responsible in ensuring that all daily income have been received by the Hotel and are recorded in the daily revenue reports. He/she will ensure timely recovery of hotel’s receivables and oversee the preparation for transmittal of credit card charges and reconciliation of accounts, including advanced deposits as well as timely billing activities.
A good candidate should have thorough knowledge of accounting principles control and procedures including the department’s control systems and internal procedures. He/she should also be knowledgeable in night audit and cashiering system. He/she should have strong attention to details and analytical skills.
The Chief Income Auditor should oversee overall efficiency of the section and should be able to train, motivate, evaluate and develop subordinates under his/her supervision. He/she will also have effective control over restaurant and front office cashier sections and scrutinize the legitimacy of all check and cash transactions.
