What You'll Do

The Chief Learning Officer is responsible for leading the Learning and Development (L&D) function addressing the needs of BCG’s teams and business units worldwide. This position manages a large team learning professionals and is a core member of BCG’s Global People Leadership Team, partnering with our most senior leaders across the full breadth of BCG’s geographies, businesses, specialties and functions and serving as a key thought leader and advisor to senior leadership on talent development, organizational upskilling and learning innovations. This position reports to BCG’s Global People Chair.  


Key responsibilities include: 

Design and execute a comprehensive L&D strategy aligned with BCG’s business priorities, growth trajectory, and global workforce needs. Champion a culture of continuous learning, ensuring programs are adaptive, business-relevant, and future-focused. Partner closely with the business to orchestrate learning for our 35,000 employees across all geographies, roles, specialties and tenures, evolving rapidly with the business needs Drive innovation across the function Ensure ongoing focus on serving the evolving needs of the business Leverage innovative delivery methods, from in-person and virtual training to cutting-edge digital platforms, to maximize reach and engagement. Integrate advanced technologies such as AI, immersive learning, and analytics to enhance learning impact, as well as speed and efficiency Build an adaptive learning ecosystem that can pivot quickly in response to emerging trends or business needs.Develop expansive learning experiences leveraging the full breadth of learning modes, while operating with efficiency and scalability Oversee learning initiatives for all professionals, including client-facing consultants, internal functions, and technical/subject-matter experts. Drive the development of core skills, leadership capabilities, functional expertise, and organizational upskilling in high-priority areas such as digital, analytics, innovation, teaming and inclusion.  Ensure tailored learning pathways address the needs of diverse talent profiles, from early-career professionals to senior leaders. Drive learning operations to ensure seamless delivery of L&D opportunities and to drive a future-ready learning strategy that delivers measurable impact Ensure high quality seamless operations, measuring and driving excellence Establish efficient and effective operations, including overseeing L&D Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Shared Services Define and track KPIs to assess the effectiveness and ROI of L&D programs. Establish feedback loops to continuously improve offerings and ensure alignment with evolving needs. Demonstrate measurable improvements in capability development, employee engagement, and organizational performance Spearhead a transformation journey to reimagine and scale L&D to meet the demands of a fast-evolving business landscape.  Redefine how and where we meet our learners to develop core skills, expertise and emerging capabilities.  Revolutionize the learning culture and tech infrastructure to future-proof our approach to learning Prioritize and enable agility and scalability to match our firm’s continued growth.  Lead global team of learning professionals combining a wealth of business understanding, deep expertise and knowledge in all aspects of adult learning, to serve full breadth of BCG Foster a high-performing, innovative, and collaborative L&D organization that attracts and retains top talent. Develop the next generation of L&D leaders  

What You'll Bring

Proven Experience: 15+ years in a senior HR, L&D, talent development, or related leadership role, in a fast-moving global and matrixed environment with a diverse professional workforce. Transformation Expertise: Demonstrated success in leading large-scale L&D transformations with a focus on agility, scalability, and alignment to business priorities. Strategic Vision: Deep understanding of business needs and priorities and how to continuously develop talent in a fast-moving dynamic environmentCollaborative Leadership: Strong ability to work with senior stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, and align diverse perspectives. Data-Driven Approach: Skilled in leveraging data and analytics to measure impact, refine programs, and drive continuous improvement. Industry Knowledge: Experience in professional services, consulting, or similar industries is highly desirable. Educational Background: Advanced degree in Organizational Development, Learning & Development, Human Resources, Business, or related fields preferred.
