What You'll Do Lead and actively participate in daily maintenance activities to ensure efficient operations and timely issue resolution. Oversee preventive maintenance and urgent repairs in guest rooms and hotel systems. Ensure all safety and compliance standards are met, including inspections and equipment checks. Maintain department budget and ensure tools and equipment are in top condition. Oversight of one maintenance engineer; lead by example in promoting safety, system knowledge, and proactive maintenance. Work closely with the front desk and housekeeping teams to coordinate maintenance efforts with minimal guest disruption. Act as Safety Committee Chairperson and uphold hotel safety procedures.

What We're Looking For

High school graduate or equivalent; technical certifications a plus. 2+ years hotel maintenance experience; supervisory background preferred. Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety codes. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to endure abundant physical movements in carrying out job duties. Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets Company standards for operating vehicles on its behalf. Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, as required to meet the needs of the Company’s business operations.

Bonus Points For

Bilingual (English/Spanish). Trade licenses or certifications. Experience with hotel maintenance systems and compliance standards.
