Job Title: Chief Maintenance EngineerJob Description The Chief Maintenance Engineer is responsible for preventative and mechanical maintenance and must possess knowledge of machine repair. A successful candidate is a self-motivated problem-solver who utilizes a strong work ethic to ensure all quality levels are met. Responsibilities + Complete mechanical repairs and adjustments as needed. + Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery as assigned. + Successfully troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems. + Complete welding and fabrication tasks with little direction. + Enter data into the maintenance system timely and accurately. + Perform advanced electrical work to maintain safety in the maintenance field. + Other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + 5+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing. + 5+ years of experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems. + Experience with electrical, troubleshooting, hydraulics, mechanical, pneumatics, and corrective maintenance. + Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLC, Fanuc robots, HMI programming, and Mitsubishi PLC. + Experience in preventative and corrective maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associate Degree in Electro-Mechanical. + Programming experience with Allen Bradley. + Experience in Japanese automotive manufacturing. Work Environment The work environment involves utilizing technologies such as Allen Bradley PLC, Fanuc robots, HMI programming, and Mitsubishi PLC. The position requires adherence to safety protocols while performing advanced electrical work and preventative/corrective maintenance.
