The University of Miami UHealth – Department of Radiology- at SoLé Mia has an exciting opportunity for a full time Chief Mammography Technologist. CORE JOB FUNCTIONS + Plans, assigns, supervises, and reviews the work of staff involved in mammography services delivery. + Supervises and performs diagnostic imaging studies. + Coordinates activities with departmental staff to assure maximum effect, minimize duplication, and enhance better utilization of resources. + Assists in the development of in-service training for departmental staff. + Establishes priorities for research development and monitors progress. + Provides assistance in the compilation of statistical data. + Assists with the preparation of the annual departmental budget and development of administrative and operational policies, procedures, and regulations. + Makes recommendations regarding hire, discipline, and promotion of subordinates. + Establishes and continuously assesses the effectiveness of the internal controls within the unit and compliance with University policies and procedures. + Ensures employees are trained on controls within the function and on University policy and procedures.
