About The Career:\n\nThe CMO plays a key role in building and maintaining relationships between the management of Montrose Regional Health and its Medical Staff. The CMO collaborates with Administration and leads in clinical and quality initiatives that support the provision of effective and efficient clinical performance and practice standards at Montrose Regional Health.\n\n

All About You:\n\nEducation: MD or DO degree, completed residency training in a recognized specialty, current or past board certification in the specialty of training and management degree or equivalent experience.\nTraining & Experience: Current and clear medical licensure in the state of Colorado. 10+ years clinical experience.\nJob Knowledge:
Effective communicator; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven leadership skills and accomplishments.
Must have knowledge of hospital structure, operations, and infrastructure of quality and utilization.
Requires expertise with medical staff processes, policies and procedures and Joint Commission accreditation.
Experience in managing, developing and mentoring practitioners.
Knowledge of and experience with practitioner education and training programs.
Highly motivated in the areas of quality improvement and clinical transformation, with proven expertise in multiple aspects of healthcare such as quality assessment, peer
review, delineation of clinical privileges, outcomes research, clinical profiling, evidence-based medicine, and service quality.\n\n
