Chief Medical Officer Digital Health
Overview Expected pay for this position is $166.44 - $208.05/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. POSITION SUMMARY: The Chief Medical Officer of OnCall Digital Health exercises leadership responsibility over the practice of digital medicine at OSF HealthCare OnCall Digital Health. Act as a member of the executive team to ensure consistency in practice standards and facilitate an interdisciplinary team approach to the delivery of digital care. Develop and articulate the vision and strategic direction for the practice of digital medicine at OSF and collaborate on the implementation of OSF strategies. Direct the development of strategies to promote the recruitment, retention and recognition of excellence in physicians and advanced practice providers. Participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of digital clinical programs and services. Partners with the Administrative Team, medical staff and others concerning implications of decisions and impact on the quality of patient care, clinical practice and clinical care providers. Serves in a dyad role with the Chief Clincian Executive for OnCall Digital Health. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Doctorate Licenses/Certifications: Physician Physician Experience: 5 years of clinical experience Experience in organizational leadership positions such as CMO, Medical Staff President, Department Chair, or Medical Director in a consumer focused healthcare market PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Master's degree in business administration or health care leadership field Other requirements/information: Strong knowledge of leadership development principles and theories. Proven ability to make decisions systematically, under pressure, builds consensus, can make difficult/unpopular decisions, and considers impact of decisions. Documented effectiveness in project management, with multi-tasking capabilities; identifying and resolving problematic situations. Proven ability to drive ideas and change through networking and relationship building; apply skills of self-motivation and development. A comprehensive understanding of issues facing the healthcare industry and the implications for future provision of clinical services. Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to command respect and confidence with professional peers on direct provision, referral and contractual basis. Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate at all levels of an organization.
