Five Rivers Analytics, an Akima company, is hiring a Chief of Operations to support the Satellite Control Network Operations, Remote Site and Mission Partner Support (STORMS) contract at Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory (BIOT). The Chief of Operations provides leadership for company personnel, briefings to customers, and ensures the site is staffed in accordance with approved manning directives and policies. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today! **Responsibilities** + All scheduled satellite pass supports, readiness, training, and exercises. + Ensuring all operations tasks are conducted in accordance with approved directives. + Writing and reviewing site operational instructions, ensuring compliance by employees. + Coordinating all operational activities with customers including the prime contractor and government personnel. + Interfacing with Akima Shared Services on employee issues; payroll, timekeeping, benefits, etc. + Collecting and analyzing operational performance data; recommends process improvements. + Ensuring mission success is maintained/improved with current/future satellite pass requirements. + Enforcing standards and deploys company directed discipline practices when needed. + Conducting and supervising employee technical training program in an on-the-job environment. + Act as liaison to government customer for all contract related matters. + Performs other collateral duties as assigned or directed. **Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least five (5) years Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) experience.
