Ford EVDD is responsible for developing the key technologies and capabilities – such as EV platforms, batteries, e-motors, inverters, charging and recycling – to create ground-up, breakthrough electric vehicles. The Chief of Staff for the Advanced EV team will be responsible for supporting a growing business unit developing electric vehicle platforms, products, and technologies. You will work closely with executive leadership, supply chain, manufacturing, finance, recruiting, human resources and lead the business operations functions of the team to enable the team to deliver the best electric vehicle products and technology in the world.
The minimum requirements we seek:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field 7+ years in program or product management Expert level knowledge in project management & change management processes 5+ years of experience using enterprise level purchase order systemsPreferred Requirements:
Master’s degree in business administration High level of expertise and proficiency with Atlassian or other project management tools and associated automation Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite Experience as a business consultant Experience managing a small team Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in storytelling An eagerness to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment where you are part of a high performing team

Coordinate critical events including supplier engagement, executive visits needing project management support, and team events. Partner with leadership to cultivate materials for team wide presentations.Operational Efficiency:
Identify, adopt, and roll out initiatives that foster rigor into a low-meeting environment. Create and maintain a centralized team Confluence page to enable open information sharing. Collaborate with the tools and IT teams to improve this over time. Lead the team that places prototype and development part and tool orders. Project hiring needs and monitor headcount in partnership with leadership, Finance, and HR. Ensure organizational movements are tracked and maintain organizational charts with a newly architected set of tools.Employee Experience:
Drive multisite experience unification efforts for Palo Alto, Dearborn, and a brand-new facility in Long Beach. Lead initiatives that support engagement, culture building, and training. Communication Coordination for external and internal changes Identify strategic growth initiatives and partner with recruiting and HR to – analyze metrics for retention, talent strategy, and people development to create sustained growth opportunities for employees Facilitate post-acquisition activities with culture adoption and assimilation Drive continued cross functional onboard activities for new hires
