Responsibilities Hudson Yards Experiences (‘HYE’) is seeking a Chief of Staff / Business Operations Associate to join their team. As the Chief of Staff / Business Operations Associate, you will work closely with the executive team (CEO, Head of Finance, CCO, GM) and collaborate with leaders across the company to drive strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects that enhance HYE’s growth and profitability. You will play a key role in shaping our strategic direction and execution. Key Responsibilities: Lead Execution of Strategic Initiatives: Oversee the end-to-end execution of major cross-functional growth, optimization, planning and profitability initiatives, fostering alignment on business priorities across teams. Strategic Finance Initiatives: Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts, working collaboratively to implement data-driven decision-making processes and frameworks. Business Performance Analytics: Work in tandem with the Business Analytics / Development team on scoping, development and maintenance of business performance analytics tools aimed to derive insights and optimization recommendations for marketing, operating, pricing, etc.. Process Development and Optimization: Work with cross-functional / shared services teams (eg. accounting, legal, HR, IT, etc.) to understand the need / alternatives for process improvement, develop optimization initiatives and project manage implementation. Materials Creation and Management: Coordinate and prepare materials and supporting analysis for board meetings, company all-hands meetings, investor discussions, and other external C-level projects. Compensation: $125,000 - $145,000 / year Annual performance based bonus Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 2 years in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, a high-growth startup, or a similar fast-paced environment. Education: Graduate degree within a technical field preferred. Technical Skills: Exceptional financial modeling and data analytics capabilities. Strong understanding of accounting. Presentation Skills: Ability to create simplified narratives for complex messages and visualize financial and operational data effectively. Project Management: Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects on time and within budget. Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail combined with a strong understanding of the big picture, enabling to provide clear, concise information to key stakeholders. Communication: Exceptional communicator with the ability to influence and manage projects across multiple levels and functions within the organization. Learning Agility: Eagerness to quickly learn and adopt new concepts and technologies. Time Management & Problem-Solving: Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and resolve issues quickly and independently. Other: working knowledge of SQL and Python in is a plus.
