This role will sit in the CEO, APAC management office which is responsible for establishing the overall strategic direction of the region. The office will liaise with all relevant stakeholders to create, implement, and roll out plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and company policies all designed to foster growth, profitably and efficiencies within the region.
Role Summary
The right talent will assist regional management in developing and driving the firm's strategic vision and business plan to develop and execute actionable business plans and projects that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term strategic goals for Australia and New Zealand.
Overall Responsibilities
+ Help drive company results working closely with all relevant stakeholders
+ Liaise with all relevant stakeholders to create, implement, and roll out plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and company policies all designed to foster growth, profitably and efficiencies within the region
+ Design and implement management information to provide accurate and timely reports outlining the operational condition of the AU/NZ
+ Create effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external processes
+ Help foster a growth oriented, positive, and encouraging environment aligning to the company's values, while keeping employees accountable to company policies, procedures, and guidelines
+ Develop strong relationships across the businesses and region to improve the interaction across the company
+ Establishing a solid base of front office and support and control frameworks in AU/NZ
+ Ensuring effectiveness and efficiency of AU/NZ operational processes and come up with ways to improve them
+ Overseeing AU/NZ daily operations and adjusting where necessary
+ Delivering strategic and tactical projects and plans to improve the current operating model
+ Leading transparent communication top down and bottom up
+ Delivering management information, periodic updates, and strategy papers
+ Improving employees' productivity, by looking at means to improve team culture enabling team members to thrive
+ Collaborating across the region to enable strategic positioning of AU & NZ region for scalable and sustainable growth
Standard Responsibilities
+ Ensuring compliance with the company's regulatory requirements under the ASIC/FMA or other as relevant.
+ Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

+ University degree
+ Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this role
