Your Typical Day
From community partnerships to strategic planning sessions, your day as a Chief Program Officer is rewarding and exciting as you impact our mission programs.
+ Executive Leadership: Be an active member of the Executive Team, contributing to the organization’s overall strategy and ensuring mission services align with broader organizational goals. Frame idea’s and synthesize data and insights into executive presentations to trigger decision making, actionable requirements and plans.
+ Community Impact: Use data to track program outcomes and communicate the impact of Goodwill’s services to board members, partners, and community stakeholders. You’ll be the voice of program impact.
+ Workforce Development: Oversee workforce development programming across our region, developing and executing strategic plans to meet the needs of consumers, employers, and funding partners.
+ DEI Champion: Lead with a strong commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging, ensuring an environment free from discrimination and harassment. Model inclusive leadership at all levels of the organization.
+ Collaborative Partnerships: Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, from education and government agencies to businesses and service providers, to foster community partnerships that advance Goodwill’s mission. Oversee partner collective data management.
+ Innovative Leadership: Partner with the development team to secure funding for new programs and services. Research and implement best practices to continually innovate and improve service delivery.
+ Resource Management: Oversee the budget for mission related services and ensure financial goals are met while maintaining compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
+ Program Evaluation: Utilize metrics and analytics to assess program effectiveness and adjust as needed to maximize impact & effectiveness. Prepare executive level reports and presentations, including for the Board of Directors to formulate and update agency’s strategic plan.

What You’ll Need:
Experience & Education:
+ A Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Management, Business, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
+ At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience with a proven track record of building, motivating, and leading teams.
Skills & Abilities:
+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information compellingly to diverse audiences.
+ Proven strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on driving organizational success.
+ Experience in using data and analytics to track and assess program performance.
+ Ability to adjust quickly to changes and seize opportunities as they arise.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects with precision, while staying focused on the big picture.
