Objectives of the Role:
Manage all key risk related issues (financial and non-financial) in Holding company and its subsidiaries in order to protect shareholders’ value for Allianz as a whole.
The key responsibilities are:
1. Participating in the integration of risk management and the strategy development processes.
2. Developing and communicating risk management policies, risk appetite and risk limits for the holding company.
3. Assist in development & follow-up on risk mitigation strategies / activities in holding and its subsidiaries and ensure quality implementation by responsible parties.
4. Facilitate enterprise-wide risk assessments & monitor priority across holding business.
5. Ensure that all group/regional/regulatory policies are adhered to at all times (e.g. investment limits, Risk minimum standards)
6. Provide guidance and consultancy for subsidiary companies in RM area.
Qualifications
▪ Bachelor degree and at least one professional risk related qualification (e.g. CFA, FRM)
▪ At least 8 years of working experience in actuarial or financial risk area in the insurance industry
▪ Experience and expertise in at least one area of business (e.g. Investment, Actuarial, Risk Management, Operations and Finance)
▪ Professional certificate of FSA, CPA, CFA or FRM is a plus
▪ Other CBIRC required qualification.

▪ Good understanding of Insurance Business.
▪ Strong financial background: quick assessment of business and risks – core understanding of business financials (accounting, finance and balance sheet).
▪ Strong analytical skills.
▪ Ability to deal with uncertainty due to changing situations and flexibility to take on additional responsibility outside of own area when required.
▪ Very high integrity level.
▪ Role model and promote strong risk culture / awareness.
