Job Overview: The Chief Security Architect is a critical member of the CISO’s senior leadership team that is responsible for overseeing the planning, analyzing, designing, assessing, and supporting NCR Atleos’ Global Information Security program. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of security frameworks, controls, risk management as well as cloud computing and web application development practices.
Position Summary and Key Areas of Responsibility
Collaborate with other architecture functions to ensure that security goals are considered in the delivery of new products and services.Review new and emerging security trends to provide guidance and input into the security strategy.Review security processes for efficiency and effectiveness.Develop and deliver presentations to all levels of the organization to promote security concerns and objectives.Review, design and approve information security controls.Evaluate, analyze and document security related risks and present potential impacts and mitigating controls to management for review.Work with key security vendors to ensure the organization is effectively utilizing purchased services and resources.Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the security program to streamline inefficiencies and improve effectiveness.Other duties as assigned.Skills:

Ability to identify tactical actions that do not provide value or are not contributing to the strategy to stop wasteful work.Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree and 15+ years of experience in an architecture or security roleExperience with common security frameworks and compliance practices such as, but not limited to the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), ISO 27001, NIST 800 series and PCI DSS.Certifications:
Relevant industry certifications are preferred.Work Environment: Candidates will be required to work 3 days a week in an office location in Atlanta, GA (midtown) or Frisco, Texas.
Travel: Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
