Our client requires Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to provide strategic leadership which includes digital strategy and technology roadmap development and delivery to support business priorities. Resource will provide executive-level leadership for strong communication and collaboration across business lines, resulting in synergies in knowledge sharing, business process improvements/efficiencies, improved client experiences and innovation. Key to this role will be setting objectives and strategies for architecture, application systems, IT infrastructure, data management, cyber security, telecommunications, vendor relations, IT business solutions and support. Responsibilities include selecting and implementing technology to streamline all internal operations, plus design and customization of technology systems and platforms.
Mandatory Requirements Master’s degree in business administration or equivalent. Total combined education and experience of 15+ years in the technology industry. Minimum 5 years of related experience in executive or senior leadership role. Demonstrated expertise in creating an integrated and strategic functions. Experience in leading major organizational change initiatives effectively and efficiently Demonstrated successful development and guidance of strategic initiatives in a highly collaborative corporate environment. Demonstrated strategic mindset and ability to think system-wide to find innovative solutions. Exceptional inter-personal skills enabling engagement with all levels across organization with staff, members, external organizations, agencies, and statutory bodies Strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage in an empowering and empathetic way, and to delegate as required Employing excellent relationship building and team-working skills in an environment where priorities and goals can quickly change and evolve An understanding of IT strategy, business technology and its application at all levels in the client environment and a strategic thinker, including: Developing IT and information security strategies Interpreting and handling complex information Political awareness (ability to read and understand the political/strategic environment) Personal drive – energy, integrity and passion Ability to motivate and lead through change Experience in an agile environment catering to large enterprises. Motivating and inspiring leader, who cares for his / her team and has empathy. A commitment and belief that diversity and inclusion matter when building a team Alignment with corporate values Desirable Requirements Executive level experience within public sector environment for digital transformation initiatives Experience developing and maintaining strong positive external relationships with the government, regulators, and partners in the financial sector (both public & private).Job Posting ID: 55751
