Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment. Exercises no supervision. This position is a "grant funded" position, therefore, unclassified and has no disciplinary appeal rights to the Municipal Civil Service Commission. This position is likewise subject to at-will employment status and can be terminated at any time for any reason. Work Location 3652 Bluemal Rd., San Antonio, TX (78229) Work Hours 7:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday Essential Job Functions + Conducts preliminary and ongoing eligibility intakes/re-certifications for parents applying for federally funded Child Care Services Program. + Performs calculations to determine parent's financial obligations for child care services. + Monitors adjustments and payments. + Maintains case records both electronically and hardcopy. + Provides excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. + Coordinates between vendor and parent to complete child care arrangements. + Conducts research and justification for various accounting adjustments, to include computer entry. + Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required. Job Requirements + Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with preferable coursework in Business, Child Development, or related field. Preferred Qualifications + Experience working with a high-volume case load. + Bilingual in English and Spanish. + Knowledge and experience working with eligibility determination. + Valid Texas Class "C" Driver's License.
