Ebenezer Ridges Care Center, highlights a full continuum of care campus including Transitional Care, Adult Day Programs,  Intergenerational Child Care, Long Term Care, Enhanced Care and Assisted Living/Memory Care.  We are located across the street from Fairview Ridges Hospital at the I-35E and I-35W split in Burnsville, MN.  Come join our team of dedicated employees who share in our mission to help our seniors heal, discover, and educate for longer healthier, more significant lives.

 

We are looking for a Child Care Teacher to support Ebenezer’s Intergenerational childcare program by caring for our children in their assigned age group and providing supervisor for assistant teachers and aides. Our Early Education Teacher will lead, plan and organize age appropriate activities to ensure the program provides the highest quality childcare available.

Responsibilities/Job Description Implementing developmentally age appropriate curriculum.Develop and implementing weekly lesson plansAssessing each child's development and administer Parent/Teacher conferences twice per yearMaintain a child friendly and orderly classroomImplementing effective guidance and support strategiesConnect with parents on child development issues, policies and other concerns related to their childrenReport any concerns to the director regarding staff or classroom issuesMaintains confidentiality of records and information of staff and familiesParticipates in program areas such as intergenerational activitiesSupervise heath, safety and overall wellbeing of the children at all timesMaintain certification in Pediatric First Aid, CPR, SUIDS/AHT Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

High school Diploma/GED - Child Development or Teacher qualified under Minnesota Rule 9503.0032 

 

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
1-2 years’ experience working with young children

Ability to lift 40lbs.
CPR and Pediatric First Aid certification
