Job Overview

Riley Crossing is one of our newest senior living/child care communities located in Chanhassen, MN, near Hwy 101 and County Road 212. It hosts 134 units of Independent/Assisted Living, Enhanced, and Memory Care in total. This location offers a on-site intergenerational childcare center which includes interactive programming with our senior residents. Chanhassen was named one of the best small towns in the U.S. by Money Magazine, and Riley Crossing has won local awards for the best retirement community.

 

The Child Care Aide assists in the supervision and care of children and provides childcare program activities in order to ensure the highest quality of childcare available.

 

This early education position includes: 

80 hours per two weeks Fully Benefit Eligible (including medical insurance, PTO and Safe and Sick Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement match, and discounted child care!)

Responsibilities:

Assists in classroom as needed and directed by the lead teacherSupervises health and safety needs of childrenAssists in keeping classroom neat and orderlyResponsible for securing health, hygiene, safety, and overall well-being of children at all timesProvides a nurturing environment, which supports the individual development of each childAssists in keeping records up to date, such as emergency forms, lesson plans, individual child development profiles, and other records as neededAbility to follow all licensing requirements as directed by the center Director and Lead TeacherMaintains confidentiality of records and information of staff and familiesMaintains all requirements of licensing for education and trainingAbility to perform as duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

High School diploma1 year of experience
