Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will work with senior staff to provide instruction and training to lower-level employees. You will work within prescribed staff-to participant ratios with children and youth ranging in age from 6 weeks to 18 years. You will assist participants with special projects, homework and life skills. You will participate in conferences with parents, program staff, school representatives and local installation command personnel. You will use designated evaluation material to ensure assigned areas is in compliance with Marine Corps and local installation command baseline standards and metrics. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing expertise in appropriate specialized developmental care and instruction for children and youth in specialized Children and Youth Programs; providing child instruction and training to lower-level employees. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Successful completion of four years of education above high school. OR A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. Additional Information Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
