Position Summary:

Person in this position serves as person in charge of developmental child care center. This person acts as first-line role model for clients and staff, by demonstrating through actions, appropriate behaviors and social interaction. Essential Job Functions include those listed below. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Essential Job Functions:

Plan and implement child development services including but not limited to individualized educational and developmental plans, curricula, daily schedules and lesson plans, classroom instruction and medical/diagnostic services. Train and supervise designated center interns as determined by Program Coordinator. Assure center and records adhere to all agency and county standards, health department standards, and funding requirements. Assist in reviewing records of childrens behavioral patterns and provide clinical intervention when necessary. Function as member of multi-disciplinary treatment team, providing information regarding parent/child interactions and making necessary recommendations and/or referrals as necessary. Coordination and collaboration with community service providers and referral services. Meet all grant requirements. Flexibility to meet scheduling and fulfill program needs. Document in case files all attendance in groups and pertinent data collected relevant to treatment goals. To collect and analyze all statistical data, maintain logs, and provide necessary reporting data on a monthly basis to the immediate supervisor. To report all concerns to the Program Coordinators for any follow-up that may be needed. Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision and goals of WestCare Foundation.
