Child-friendly housekeeper job, Devon near North Coombe

 

We have a fantastic opportunity to work with a lovely, informal, and friendly family who have a school-age daughter in their 3-bedroom home located in the idyllic Devonshire countryside. They are seeking someone who is upbeat, friendly, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage their own time effectively. The family also has two cats.

 

Ideally, you should have experience working in a private household and possess checkable references. Additionally, flexibility to assist on rare occasions during the weekend for family events and pickups from travel would be appreciated, with overtime pay for those instances.

 

Duties to include

Hands on Housekeeping, Cleaning, all linen - Washing and Ironing 3-4 school pickups a week (25-minute drive away) Childminding, one-two overnight per month Managing all shopping and deliveries Cooking and baking 5 days a week for lunch and dinner – nutritionally balanced, including vegan and vegetarian House and pet sitting paid overtime, roughly 4-5 weeks of the year Feeding the cats

 

Driving essential, Must have own car for shopping, errands and social use - mileage will be paid for use for work purposes. Car provided for most School runs.

Hours:  Flexible Monday – Friday up to 7 hours per day 35 hours per week

Salary: £18-£20 Gross per hour
