You will maintain training calendars and coordinate all logistics related to training for assigned regions. This includes continual training events and new parent training each month. You will report to the RAPT Coordinator Supervisor. This role requires you to be proficient in Microsoft Office, have extreme attention to detail, and demonstrate excellent organizational skills. This position is located in the DCS Staff Development office in Indianapolis, Indiana. Salary: The salary for this position traditionally starts at $37,648 but may be commensurate with education or work experience. A Day in the Life: Essential duties are: + Assist with securing lodging for recently hired and/or promoted employees with(in) the agency. + Handle routine departmental activities related to training documentation and coordination. + Ensure all logistical requirements related to the DCS Master Calendar are met. + Provide lodging and training materials/information to employees within the agency to ensure that all scheduled training is going well, all within established timelines. + Maintain information related to the DCS Regional Training Centers, including contact information. + Assist with yearly workshops, including the Annual Director’s Workshop, the Annual Supervisor’s Workshop, and the Director and Supervisor Quarterly Workshops. + Manage hotel complaints received from DCS employees. What You'll Need for Success: You must meet the following requirements to be considered for employment: + Ability to manage several tasks at one time. + Ability to prioritize according to guidelines provided by the DCS Training Manager and complete tasks within established timelines. + Knowledge of training programs, technology, and lodging needs. + Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with all internal staff, field staff, and external partners. + Ability to analyze and prioritize requests made by numerous departmental employees. + Knowledge of the basic skills and abilities of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Excel. + Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. + Minimal travel may be required.
