JOB TITLE: CHILDREN’S SERVICES COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR
POSITION STATEMENT:
Under the supervision of the Director of Children’s Services, the Children’s Services Compliance Coordinator is responsible for providing day-to-day oversight and monitoring quality and compliance of the Play, Do, Learn preschool classes at the Covenant and IPC locations. They will also serve as a liaison with the staff and the church locations. The Children’s Services Compliance Coordinator works closely with the Director of Children’s Services, Director of Early Intervention and Therapy Manager as well as all the PDL Lead Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Volunteers, and Student Interns.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB AND ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS:
Direct Duties:
Ensures all TEIS, DDA, and SRVS Kids contract, and licensure requirements and policies are followed Assists in the documentation of the child’s skills concerning the IFSP goals Ensures that teachers are adapting all activities to the individual needs of each child in order to increase levels of competence in each developmental area and that align with the IFSP goals Completes all documentation and complies with all policies and procedures of TEIS, SRVS and SRVS Kids Trains and supervises staff providing center-based developmental therapy early intervention services Conducts quarterly observations for staff providing center-based developmental therapy early intervention services Delegates responsibilities to staff providing center-based developmental therapy early intervention services Maintains a safe, clean, sanitary environment Conducts observation visits of prospective families and other interested persons Trains volunteers and student interns Communicates effectively and empathetically with parents and caregivers Provide a positive, nurturing environment for all children Attend all staff meetings and works cooperatively with all team members Serves as an advocate for SRVS Kids and our familiesOther Responsibilities:

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Special Education, or related field; knowledge of early childhood development; an understanding of children’s developmental milestones; and a minimum of one year experience caring for one or more young children. Ability to problem solve. Must have a valid TN, AR, or MS driver's license and a good driving record. Must have good organizational and communication skills. Must have good computer skills.
