China ELE Quality Manager

This position working location is in EHC shanghai Malu plant

Quality Goals & Strategies

-In conjunction with EEBU APAC Director develop E&E China quality goals and objectives

-Implements Quality standards and strategies to ensure the achievement of predetermined goals

-Establish, maintain and improve the quality management system to ensure its effective operation and compliance with ISO standards through auditing, monitoring and assisting in improvement

-Responsible for the maintenance of all integrated management system certification requirements, including but not limited to ISO9001 quality management system; proficient in using quality management tools, such as FMEA,SPC, etc

-Organize relevant departments to conduct root cause analysis of customer complaints and internal complaints, visit customer work sites as required, and propose improvement countermeasures to improve customer satisfaction

-Quality department daily management, personnel management, task allocation, work inspection and assessment, deployment training and capacity improvement

Policies & Procedures

-Maintaining and updating the documentation of existing quality related procedures, ensuring that the quality procedures are implemented in accordance with approved quality procedures, and providing guidance as required

-Communicates significant changes in procedures or manuals to required personnel

Audits &Supplier SCAR

-Responsible for the coordination and successful completion of government, customer, internal clients etc. quality audits

-Co-work with purchasing teamResponsible for the completion of supplier quality assessment, supplier field audit and Supplier SCAR

Reports

-Prepares Monthly Quality reports on quality trends and patterns by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends and presents as requested.

-Provides statistical feedback on the validity and proficiency of all processes in the production

-Maintains all quality records in order to be in compliance with established standards with the Quality Procedures Manual.

-Responsible for maintaining reports and charts that relate to the Quality goals

-Responsible for preparing and submitting reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing month-end data and providing recommendations to top management

-Reports monthly to top management on quality cost

-Working with the Corporate Quality Department, scrutinizes the attribute data for any areas of improvement.   Where opportunities for improvement are identified, submits in writing observations, conclusions and recommendations directly to top Management

Projects

-Completes special assignments as requested, including the EEBU and Prysmain China quality projects

Supervisory

-Ensures optimal staff performance by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees, developing personal growth

-Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees

Health, Safety, Enviroment

-Understand, accept and comply with the related HSE responsibility commitment as part of daily work

-As the first person responsible for HSE of Quality Department, be fully responsible for HSE management of the department and implement HSE responsibilities of the department step by step, achieve the company safety assessment goals

-Organize hazard identification and risk assessment of the department, and implement major security risk control measures of the department

-Ensure that the department personnel receive adequate HSE related training,100% completed the required training courses

-Supervise and inspect the safety training and assessment of the special equipment operators and special operators of the department to ensure that they get the certificates to work

-organize and participate in HSE hidden danger investigation, and implement the department's hidden danger rectification and treatment;

-Supervise and educate the employees of the department to abide by the rules and regulations of the company, and correctly wear and use PPE

-Responsible for the quality related security management of visitors, short-term staff and external contractors/suppliers belonging to the department

-Implement other HSE requirements of the company.
