China Securities Company- Business Control - Vice President

As a Control Manager Vice President, you'll be responsible for leading and building out an enhanced control framework which supports a continuous and integrated approach to risk assessment. Additionally, you will ensure the team assists in top down risk analysis, real time control issue detection, escalation, root cause analysis and remediation.

Job Responsibilities

The role will be a mix of supporting the routine business control activity of the team and contribution to the change management agenda.

Provide advice and support execution for the identification, assessment, monitoring and uplift of risk at business, Legal entity and locational levelReview, challenge and test existing controlsFacilitate internal audit, compliance testing and other testing process for the businessFacilitate external regulatory exam for the businessMaintain risk and control documentationLead regulatory change management process for the businessFacilitate new product initiative for the businessSupport critical business control forums including providing the agenda, liaison with business and functional representatives, recording actions and ensuring appropriate follow upDevelop and enhance the existing governance around the business including new policies and procedures, process enhancement, building and maintaining a robust governance frameworkParticipate in regional and global controls initiatives and projects that impacting China Investment BankingDevelop and deliver targeted control training and communication to the business.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

Fluent in Chinese and EnglishMinimum of 8 years of experience in Finance, Business management, Operations, Compliance or risk and control functionsMinimum of Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related backgroundRelevant understanding of Investment Banking ProductsStrong knowledge around securities business and regulatory environment in ChinaStrong Business Analysis skillsStrong technical knowledge and ability.Excellent written and verbal communications skills; comfortable interacting with cross-business line and cross functional partnersGood influencing skillsGood project management skillsAbility to translate regulatory requirements and new concepts to the existing business model/environmentSelf-starter, independent worker, and ability to multitaskExcellent organizational and follow through skills; detail orientedMandatory to pass corresponding Securities Association of China (SAC) examination for General Professional practice qualification in securities companies
