OverviewThe Medicare Enrollment Specialist educates consumers who have reached out to VNS Health Plans and existing VNS Health Plans MLTC members about the benefits of enrolling in MAP, MAPD and/or DSNP products. Achieves monthly conversion rate and quality/compliance metrics. Works under general supervision. Educates and enrolls them into the program adhering to CMS guidelines and VNS Health policies and procedures. + Coordinates home nursing assessment visits, when appropriate, to ensure successful enrollment into the program. + Educates VNS Health Plans MA and/or MLTC members on MAP and conducts telephonic enrollments into the product. + Performs retention efforts developed by VNS Health leadership to reduce member turnover. + Educates consumers who contact VNS Health Plans via website about VNS Health Plans Medicare products. Qualifications Licenses and Certifications: + NYS Health Insurance License, required Education: + High School diploma or the equivalent, required + Bachelor's degree, preferred Work Experience: + Minimum two years of managed Medicare, Medicaid, life insurance and/or any other sales experience that includes collecting premiums during the initial sale required OR a minimum two years of experience in a related department at VNS Health Plans, required + Experience marketing to a culturally diverse target population, required + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to speak in front of large groups, required + Strong organizational skills, required + Existing relationships with key potential referrers, required + Russian bi-lingual skills, preferred CAREERS AT VNS Health The future of care begins with you.
