Chrysler - Security Site Training Supervisor
Essential Functions: ·       Instructs security personnel and other company employees on company mandated training requirements; ensures site compliance and documentation of client contracted training requirements. ·       Instructs on-the-job training, health and safety practices, customer service techniques, and client specific requirements. ·       Follows established training policies, programs and schedules to conduct on-site trainings; coordinates training activities with the site management team to avoid conflict with client service schedules. ·       Uses appropriate instructional procedures or methods, such as individual training, group instruction, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, and computer-based training. ·       Distributes training manuals; administers tests and evaluations; coordinates reference library, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials. ·       Maintains records and prepares reports to evaluate performance and monitor progress of trainees. May perform additional security services functions as permitted under any required Security Officer license and as specified for the assigned site.   Minimum Hiring Standards: ·       Must be at least 18 years of age. ·       Must have a High School Diploma or GED. ·       Must possess a current and valid driver’s license. ·       Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.   Education/Experience: ·       Associate Degree Criminal Justice or 2 years’ experience in the related field. ·       Must have one or more of the following: o          Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard o          Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets o          Minimum of (2) years of security-related experience ·       Experience teaching, mentoring, and coaching internal and external personnel.   Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing): ·     Successful completion of Train-the-Trainer (or equivalent) requirements. ·     Skill in the use of audio-visual equipment and personal computers, including presentation software. ·     Oral and written communications skills; presentation and group facilitation skills. ·     Ability to understand the security service needs of customers and devise appropriate training strategies. ·     Skill in observation, coaching and providing feedback to associates. ·     Ability to carry out multiple assignments concurrently. ·     Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures.
