Chubb Life: Assistant Marketing Manager, MCV (Mainland Chinese Visitor)

As the Assistant Marketing Manager for the mainland China Market, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive social media and public relations strategies to enhance brand presence and engagement in mainland China. This role involves managing social media content, fostering relationships with media outlets and  KOLs, overseeing content creation, executing advertising campaigns, handling public relations activities, and collaborating with external agencies to achieve marketing objectives.

Social Media Content Management:

Collaborate with agencies and develop social media content for the mainland China market, with a focus on platforms such as WeChat Official Accounts, WeChat Channels, and Xiaohongshu. Collaborate with agencies to devise effective social media strategies and campaigns. Prepare monthly and annual performance reports.

KOL Seeding and Partnerships:

Identify and engage with KOLs for seeding partnerships. Coordinate KOL collaborations and provide support for related campaign activities.

Advertising and Campaign Management:

Plan and execute advertising campaigns on various social media platforms. Support and oversee various marketing campaigns aligned with brand objectives.

Public Relations:

Establish and nurture relationships with mainland China media outlets. Manage the brand image in mainland China, including organizing press conference and media luncheon. Handle public relations crises and draft press releases. Supervise media advertising placements and event collaborations.

Collaboration with Agencies:  

Work closely with external agencies to enhance social media and PR strategies. Coordinate with agencies for campaign executions and performance evaluations. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.  At least 7 years of experience in social media management and public relations, with a proven track record in the Mainland Chinese market, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry but not a must. Deep understanding of the Mainland China market, especially first-tier and second-tier cities. Proficiency in Mandarin and English. Cantonese is an added advantage. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates with less experience may be considered for a Senior Executive position.
