CTG is seeking to fill a Circuit Design Engineering Professional Generalist / Reactive Ion Etch Engineer opening for our client in Yorktown Heights, NY. Location: Yorktown Heights, NY Duration: 12+ months, with possibility for extension Duties: Develop processes and characterize wafers on reactive ion etch (RIE) platform tools. Operate RIE tools, ensuring the safe and effective processing of semiconductor wafers. Work closely with engineers and research teams to accomplish assigned tasks. Learn quickly, execute tasks with minimal errors, document results in detail, and communicate findings clearly. Utilize basic principles of semiconductor processing, chemistry, and physics to carry out tasks in a cleanroom environment. Safely handle chemicals and gases in the cleanroom. Skills: Strong knowledge of reactive ion etch (RIE) fundamentals, tool operation, and plasma chemistry. Strong computer and analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment with a focus on accuracy and detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to work safely with chemicals and gases in a cleanroom. Ability to learn and adapt to new processes quickly. Experience: At least 2 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, specifically in Reactive Ion Etch (RIE). Experience working in a cleanroom environment. Prior experience with chemical and compressed gas handling is desirable. Experience in the field of chemistry or physics is a plus. Education: BA/BS in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Additional Requirements: Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Must be a US citizen.
