The following position is to join our Corporate RTX Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) team:

 

Role Overview:

As an Enterprise Infrastructure Engineering Principal Specialist, you will utilize your experience and knowledge of network transportation technologies focusing on the circuit provisioning lifecycle of the RTX network infrastructure utilized by the enterprise and its business units.  This is a dynamic environment where agile is applied at scale.  

 

This role is primarily responsible for all lifecycle activities associated with the RTX circuit infrastructure: quoting, ordering, tracking, decommissioning, and documentation of all carrier circuits.  This role requires interaction with multiple DT/IT frameworks within RTX, its partners and providers.  Effective cross-functional collaboration while remaining focused on target initiatives and deliverables is essential.

 

What You Will Do:

· Support the lifecycle activities associated with the RTX circuit infrastructure from quoting, ordering, and tracking, through to decommission.

· Collaboration with various workstreams and internal partners to meet project deliverables.

· Collaboration with external customers, carriers, and third party entities to facilitate circuit delivery.

· Support carrier initiatives such as on-net/off-net migrations, and carrier technology sunsets.

· Support RTX strategic initiatives such as site resiliency actions, and return to office efforts.

· Regular engagement with the carriers for order reviews, work-in-progress status, roadmaps, and new technology reviews.

· Apply analytical skills for cost reduction/savings opportunities and process efficiency enhancements.

· Awareness of RTX compliance policies to assure alignment with our carriers.

 

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field2 years experience working knowledge of circuit lifecycle activities and processes.Must be able to interface with end-user business, technology customers, and vendors in an effective and positive manner.US Citizen RequiredLocation: HYBRID is available in CT, MA, TX, LA, TUC areas

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
