Circularity Expert

 

Key responsibilities   Supporting the Group Corporate responsibility team as a subject matter expert on sustainability action area Resource+, specifically focusing on the circularity of SIG Group pouch and bag-in-box packaging. Exploring emerging packaging requirements globally, with a specific focus on European markets, across all packaging categories within the SIG Group. Establishing data management tools and monitoring progress in the EU bag-in-box and pouch packaging business. Assisting the EU advocacy team in gathering and interpreting regulatory information and supporting advocacy activities related to SIG Group's bag-in-box and pouch business. Assist in EU advocacy efforts for the bag-in-box and spouted pouch categories, implement internal strategies, and support SIG's representation in industry associations. Collaborating with key stakeholders, including industry associations, Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs), and environmental authorities, on environmental regulations and initiatives concerning packaging circularity.

 

    You bring these skills, experience & education     Academic degree (Master degree) in business administration, environmental studies, engineering or similar At least 3 years professional experience in sustainable packaging, circular economy, waste management and recycling and external affairs experience Knowledge of recycling processes and circular economy principles Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication abilities and a passion for sustainability. Excellent English (spoken and written)     SIG competencies
