Location: Loudonville, NY Category: Administrative and Staff Positions Posted On: Tue Feb 11 2025 Job Description: The Circulation Supervisor serves in the Access Services department of Siena College's Standish Library, and facilitates front-desk patron services, routine collection maintenance, and library student employment. The ideal candidate will enthusiastically recruit, train, and schedule student workers, and participate in budgeting, developing, and expanding the library student work program. Cross-departmental collaboration is routine, both inside the library and across campus with offices such as Financial Aid and Business Affairs. Flexibility, efficiency, and creative thinking will provide a groundwork for patron-centered service and detail-oriented administrative duties. Salary: $21.41/hour *The hiring salary above represents the College's good faith estimate at the time of posting in compliance with the Albany County Salary Transparency Law. Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: + Previous experience with customer service and/or supervision of staff; + Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite and common workplace technologies (printers and scanners); + Strong interpersonal and communication skills; + Associate's degree Preferred Qualifications: + Experience in library workplace; + Experience with library circulation processes, systems, and services; + Bachelor's degree A background screening will be required.
