Building Maintenance Coordinator
IFM Client account (APAC/Vietnam/Ho Chi Minh City)

Commitment to facility operations excellence
Do you have superior technical know-how when it comes to maintaining a facility?
In this role, you’ll be our go-to guy when it comes to managing our site’s daily operations and technical issues, providing effective solutions whenever difficulties arise. Are you well-versed in workplace safety? As we’ll rely on you to develop and carry out an elaborate preventative program for managing sites. You’ll also make sure that all essential site activities—including the maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and equipment—are performed in a safe and efficient manner; complying with policies and requirements set out by the government, our client and our own management teams. Your expertise in critical environment procedures may also help.
Performance Excellence
Are you driven by performance metrics? We find that the best working relationships are fostered by meeting (and exceeding) our service level agreements. This will also be part of your DNA! Working as part of a larger team, you will be involved in ensuring all key performance indicators are met, as set out in the management contract.
Championing Improvement
Do you get excited by improvement works? As part of a larger team, you will be involved in launching various improvement and savings programmes that will benefit both us and our clients. For example, you will be involved in the implementation of energy management programmes to help cut utilities costs and eliminate wastages.
This will involve working closely with our vendors, coordinating with them on a variety of projects—from beginning to end. You’ll see to it that our vendors are managed accordingly, and that technical and safety audits and repairs are in sync with the projects’ timeline.
Putting best practices in place
Do you like sharing ideas to improve the work process? As our facilities engineer, you’ll contribute to the creation of engineering service delivery standards. You’ll also help in the planning, implementation and review of site-specific processes and protocols.
JOB DESCRIPTION IN DETAIL :
Facility Engineer with a focus on civil engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and improvement of the building and civil components including building structure within our properties. Your primary duties will include:
Civil Building Services:
Inspect and assess the structural integrity of buildings, including foundations, walls, roofing, structure and other civil elements
Identify and address any issues or deficiencies in the civil structure, and coordinate with contractors for necessary repairs
Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations related to civil engineering aspects
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for the civil components of our facilities
Building Repair and Maintenance:
Coordinate to do troubleshoot and resolve issues with building structure coordinate to mechanical and electrical systems owners to utilize current resource.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors to schedule and oversee repair work on building systems
Project Management:
Manage facility improvement projects with a focus on civil engineering, including planning, budgeting, and implementation with coordination with M&E system owner.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, architects, and contractors to execute civil engineering projects
Monitor project progress, ensure safety, quality standards, and maintain project documentation
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related technical field
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Facility Engineer or in a similar civil engineering-focused role
Proven expertise in managing the maintenance and repair of civil building components
Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, manage budgets, and oversee contractors in detail.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and specifications
Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices, good written and oral communications skills in English
Proficiency in using facility management software, AutoCAD, MS Project and MS Office, familiar with BIM
