We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team and contribute to a variety of residential and commercial development projects. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and coordinating multidisciplinary projects, ensuring high-quality, budget-friendly, and timely delivery of project goals. You will also collaborate with various teams, clients, and departments to achieve project success.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and coordinate multidisciplinary projects, including site engineering for residential and commercial developments, regulatory approvals, and permitting.Develop detailed site layouts, grading, storm drainage, water and sewer infrastructure, erosion and sediment control plans, and utility plans.Prepare hydrology calculations and ensure compliance with NYSDEC stormwater regulations and SWPP requirements.Assist with project administration tasks, including preparing reports, proposals, and cost tracking.Prepare cost estimates and specifications for public bids.Coordinate with internal teams and effectively communicate with clients to ensure project alignment.Deliver high-quality projects within agreed-upon timelines and budgets.Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff to support their professional growth.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other design software.Strong understanding of land development, grading, drainage, wastewater design, and site development.Knowledge of hydrology calculations and stormwater management.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.At least 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site development and land design.Experience with public bid cost estimation and project specifications.HydroCAD knowledge is a plus.If you're passionate about civil engineering and are looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while advancing your career, we encourage you to apply!
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
