Job Title: Civil Designer - Transportation

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Civil Designer specializing in Transportation to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing small design tasks, data collection, traffic study procedures, and maintaining communication with sr staff. You will also be involved in traffic model setup, construction quantity calculations, and CADD updates.

ResponsibilitiesComplete small design tasksPerform data collection, data entry, and other basic traffic study proceduresUpdate and make changes to CADD (red-lines) as assignedCalculate construction quantities and develop related spreadsheetsSet up and analyze traffic modelsDevelop design details and plan sheets for overall project incorporationMaintain appropriate communication with sr staffPerform self-review (QA/QC) of all work prior to delivering to sr staffEssential SkillsProficiency in Design, Engineering, and DraftingExperience with roadway designProficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3DKnowledge of Civil Engineering principlesExperience with MicroStationProject management skillsUnderstanding of traffic engineering and transportation principlesAbility to conduct traffic studiesAdditional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in Transportation and TrafficEmployee-owned company with excellent long-term bonus optionsWork Environment

The position is based in our Scottsdale office.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00
