Essential Responsibilities:

Assist with site preparation, excavation, trenching and backfilling activitiesSet up signage, barricades and be a spotter for heavy equipment operatorsUtilize shovels, rakes and compactorsPerform manual labour, including shoveling, digging, and moving soilMaintain work areas are clean, organized and free from potential hazardsFollow all Ledcor safety protocols and company procedures

Requirements:

Previous 3+ years labourer experience in civil earthworksPhysically fit and capable of standing and working on your feet for long periods of timeAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditionsStrong work ethic, good communication and ability to follow instructionsMust successfully complete a full pre-access medical including a drug and alcohol testValid Driver’s License and Clean Driver's AbstractCSTS-2020Rigging Level 1 (Basic Rigging)

Work Conditions:

Project to commence in April 202514 days on, 7 days off (10-12 hour shifts)Extended health benefits provided by CLACThis is a local position—candidates must reside in the Greater Edmonton area. No camp accommodations or travel allowances provided
