Job Title: Civil Engineer II
Job Description

A Civil Engineering Consulting firm is urgently seeking a Civil Engineer II to join their dynamic team. This role involves a blend of design and drafting responsibilities, with a focus on various civil engineering projects.

ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation of site layouts, subdivision plans, site plans, public improvement plans, drainage studies, grading studies, floodplain studies, and adjoining owner notifications.Perform utility layout including horizontal and vertical design, grading, street design, stormwater management facilities, open channel flow, storm and sanitary sewer design, and erosion and sedimentation controls.Utilize ACAD 2004 and other relevant software proficiently.Communicate effectively with clientele and local government agencies, attending meetings or conferences as necessary.Support the planning and surveying departments with feasibility studies, zoning submittals, and survey functions as workload permits.Essential SkillsDegree in Civil Engineering1-6 years of experience in drafting/designing commercial and/or residential communitiesProficiency in AutoCADExperience with Civil 3D is a major plusEIT certification is preferred or a plan to sit for the FE examAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience putting together site plansExperience in stormwater management design and drainage designProject engineering and management skillsWork Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
