A growing civil engineering firm rooted in Southwest Montana is hiring a Civil Engineer. This company specializes in delivering high-quality, client-focused solutions across land development, infrastructure, surveying, and river restoration projects. As a Civil Engineer, you’ll work on a wide range of projects that blend environmental stewardship with urban development. From subdivision entitlements and public water and sewer systems to river and creek restoration, your expertise will help shape communities across Montana. Projects may include site design and permitting for commercial and residential developments, preparing site plan applications in Bozeman, Belgrade, and Livingston, supporting ranch and agricultural projects, and creating functional designs for mountain roads.

Qualifications: Education & Licensing: BS or MS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program; FE exam passed Experience: 2–5 years in civil engineering with emphasis in development and/or construction; design experience required Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; familiarity with HEC-RAS and WaterCAD preferred Specialized Knowledge: Experience in public water/wastewater systems, site grading, stormwater design, and subdivision entitlements Professional Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage timelines and budgets Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license with clean record; effective oral/written communication; team-oriented and service-driven mindset
