Senior Civil Engineer PE role leading site design and analysis for medium-to-large industrial developments using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
10+ years of experience in civil/site or industrial development design (preferred experience level)
Working knowledge and experience analyzing and designing all aspects of medium-to-large scale industrial developments
Demonstrated experience with all relevant AutoCAD Civil 3D design modules used in sitework design and drawing production
Experience using Navisworks for model review and coordination
Experience using Bluebeam for drawing review and markup
Ability to work in the office at least 2 days per week
Preferred Skills:
Experience with grading, drainage, utilities, roadway, and stormwater management design for industrial sites
Experience preparing construction documents, details, and specifications for sitework packages
Experience with clash detection and 3D coordination using Navisworks
Experience setting up and managing Civil 3D surfaces, corridors, pipe networks, and sheet sets
Experience supporting permitting packages for industrial developments
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and perform civil/site design for medium-to-large industrial developments using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Analyze and design grading, drainage, utilities, paving, and other site infrastructure components
Prepare engineering drawings, details, and construction documents for sitework packages
Use Navisworks to review and coordinate civil models with other disciplines and detect conflicts
Use Bluebeam to review, mark up, and track changes to design drawings and documents
Perform engineering calculations and technical analyses to support design decisions
Prepare and review design packages that meet applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
Provide stamped/sealed drawings and documentation as required by project and regulatory needs
Pay Details: $45.00 to $55.00 per hour
