Job Title: Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our consulting firm based in Herndon, VA. Our projects primarily focus on land development work for residential and commercial projects. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing and drafting site plans, subdivision plans, plats, and associated construction drawings. This role involves working in a collaborative environment to achieve both individual and client goals.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and draft site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.Assist Project Managers and Senior Engineers in the planning and design of hydraulic and storm water collection systems.Create and run electronic hydraulic models for water and sewer systems, including static and extended period simulations.Contribute to storm water design and drainage projects.Engage in site development tasks.Essential SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.Experience in putting together site plans.Degree in Civil Engineering.1+ years of experience with land development projects.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with land development projects.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Work Environment
