Company Description:

Our client is an innovative leader in Oil & Gas solutions in Airdrie, Alberta, seeking a Civil Engineer with a minimum of 10 years' earthworks experience. Join us to drive technical excellence in precision earthworks tailored for the dynamic Oil & Gas sector.

Responsibilities/Project Planning and Design:

Conduct advanced site assessments in Airdrie, focusing on technical aspects for Oil & Gas projects.Develop intricate project plans meeting high Oil & Gas industry standards.

Collaboration with Designers:

Work closely with design teams, integrating advanced geotechnical considerations for efficient Oil & Gas project designs.

Construction Oversight:

Manage earthworks compliance during Oil & Gas construction projects, optimizing processes for sector-specific challenges.Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure precise execution aligned with Oil & Gas industry standards.

Quality Assurance:

Implement rigorous quality assurance for earthworks integrity, adhering to industry standards and regulations.Conduct advanced technical inspections for compliance with industry-specific requirements.

Technical Analysis:

Perform advanced geotechnical analysis using industry software tailored for Oil & Gas projects.Collaborate for continuous improvement of analysis methodologies specific to Oil & Gas industry needs.

Must Haves:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.P.Eng certification.10+ years' earthworks experience in the Oil & Gas industry.Experience in site grading, pond (run-off ponds), and road design (Oil & Gas plant sites).Proficiency in geotechnical/civil engineering, soil mechanics, and Oil & Gas project management.Proven collaboration with designers and manufacturing teams in the Oil & Gas sector.

Nice-to-Haves:

Master's degree in Civil Engineering.Additional certifications in advanced geotechnical engineering relevant to Oil & Gas.Extensive experience with Civil 3D in the Oil & Gas sector.Proven track record in managing technically complex earthworks projects within the Oil & Gas industry.
